The desert has a timelessness all of its own. Often, it is easier to feel at one with nature in that sort of environment and so to appreciate the grandeur and majesty of our world. The space, the silence and the stillness all make their mark on those who visit. It is impossible to go to the desert without being affected in some way or other by it.
