
The Bridge at Prior Park is one of the little-known architectural gems of Bath. It was built by John Wood the Elder for his patron, Ralph Allen, in the 18th Century.
It is Palladian in style, as is indeed most of the classical architecture of Bath. It is one of three similar bridges in England. The other two bridges are at Wilton House and Stowe. |
