THE GARDEN SHED: 1989 - 41cm x 33cm
The old-fashioned telephone box has become iconic of British design in architecture. It was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott (1880-1960) and a wooden prototype, also painted in red and now Listed, is still in use in the entrance portico of Burlington House (the Royal Academy) in London.
